About the National Competition

 

The 2009 SIFE National Competition will provide a showcase of the impact that SIFE teams are achieving around the country and will bring together a network network of more than 300 student, academic, and business leaders.

Every university that operates a SIFE organization is eligible to send a team to the SIFE National Competition, where they will present the results of their community outreach projects to panels of business leaders serving as judges.

Teams will be first allocated into three drawing vases based on the team index score from where they will be randomly placed into three opening round leagues. From there, one team from each opening league will advance to the final round of competition and take the chance to be named the SIFE National Competition Champion.

In addition to the competition, events such as the Opening Ceremony, lunch and receptions provide an exhibit to further enhance the opportunities for participants to connect, collaborate, and learn from one another.
